Finding her voice

Seneca singer back behind the mic following cancer scare

“There are no words for it,” Seneca musician Jonelle Marie Price Carter said of the thrill of singing with the band The Clients. “It takes you to another place when you have a group of musicians who understand you.”

Singing has always held a special place in Carter’s life, giving her an outlet for her talent and a way to connect with others. And this month, she’s rejoicing at unexpectedly getting her vocals back after an experience that left her without a voice and with little hope of ever being able to sing again.
