Trying new places doesn’t seem like such a great idea when they’re operating under the three-second rule
It was a mistake placing my wife where she could see the salad bar. Every few minutes, I’d hear her say in a hushed voice, “Oh my gosh!”
It was a new restaurant, and the people working there were obviously new to the business. Restaurants are notoriously difficult to make profitable, and this one was located in a building that had housed five other restaurants in the last four years.
