Police: Sharp object used to scratch woman's vehicle

A Morris woman reported damage to her car to Morris police on Thursday morning.

According to the Morris Police Department report, at about 10:20 a.m., police responded to the 2000 block of Ashland Circle. A woman reported between the evening of Wednesday, July 4 and Thursday morning, an unknown suspect damaged a purple Ford Fusion in the parking lot of 2324 Ashland Drive.

A sharp object was used to scratch the vehicle several times, according to police.
