ENGAGEMENT: Brown-Verdeyen

Thomas and Margaret Brown of Downers Grove announce the engagement of their daughter, Elyse Brown, to Eric Verdeyen, son of Michael and Lorraine Verdeyen of Morris.

The bride-to-be graduted from the Willows Academy in Des Plaines in 2008 and received her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2012.

The prospective groom graduated from Morris Community High School in 2008 and received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Global Studies (Middle Eastern) from the University of Illinois.

Eric is enrolled in the Political Science Master’s degree program at the University of Illinois, Champaign.
