OMAHA, Neb. — Mrs. Lisa Diedre Gilmour Surprenant was born Jan. 26, 1954, in
Joliet, Ill., and died Friday, July 6, 2012, in Omaha, Neb.

The youngest child of Paul and Faye Gilmour, formerly of Mazon, Ill., Lisa graduated from Bradley-Bourbonnais High School and the University of Southern Illinois in Carbondale.

Lisa enjoyed a challenging career in architecture and energy-efficiency, consulting in more than two dozen countries and traveling the world numerous times. She lived in Thailand, Vietnam, and Washington, D.C.
