ATI Physical Therapy honored for recent public relations push

BOLINGBROOK — ATI Physical Therapy’s Sports Medicine department is the recipient of the 2012 “Best Grass Roots Effort” award for public relations efforts during National Athletic Training Month in March. The National Athletic Trainers’ Association and its PR Committee honored ATI at the District 4 meeting during the NATA Convention in St. Louis, Mo.

ATI created an in-house committee to spearhead efforts to reflect the theme of this year’s NATM “Athletic Trainer’s Save Lives.” The committee, with the support of the ATI Sports Medicine Team, planned and executed several promotional campaigns throughout Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Maryland, providing information and awareness about the role of certified athletic trainers.
