Grundy's Habitat for Humanity to hold golf fundraiser
Grundy-Three Rivers Habitat for Humanity will hold its annual fundraiser golf outing at Morris Country Club on Monday, July 23. The outing starts with registration and breakfast beginning at 7 a.m., with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
This is the ninth annual golf outing, which is named after the founder of the Grundy County affiliate of Habitat for Humanity, the late Randy Hancock of Morris. The golf outing is the single biggest fundraiser the local Habitat for Humanity has each year.
Money raised at the outing is used for the purchase of land and building materials for the homes the organization builds.
