Fewer Cubs-vs.-Sox games in store
KANSAS CITY (MCT) — The City Series never will be quite the same. After failing to draw sellout crowds at either venue this summer, the traditional six-game Cubs and White Sox series most likely will be reduced to four games.
That’s part of the fallout from Major League Baseball adopting a schedule that includes having at least one interleague game every day next season when the American and National leagues each will have 15 teams.
