Perry verbally commits to Central Michigan

Central Michigan University has had its eye on the Morris football team for a while now. A couple of years ago, Redskins standout Kevin Henry was courted by the Chippewas, and he eventually went on to commit and sign there.

Starting in the fall of 2013, there will be two Morris graduates on the CMU roster, as Jeff Perry recently verbally committed to play for Dan Enos' team.

"They were my first offer, so I could tell they were really interested," Perry said. "Also, Kevin Henry who played here a few years ago, he's one of my brother's (Jake) friends and he gave me a really good connection with them. That helped spike my interest, too."
