Two arrested after incident at restaurant drive-through

Morris police arrested two men after they allegedly threatened an employee working at McDonald's drive-through window early Tuesday morning.

Just before 1 a.m., according to Deputy Chief Harvey Van Cleave, police responded to the restaurant, at 1700 N. Division St., to a reported battery.

Police arrested Marcellus S. Pretlow, 25, for battery after he allegedly threw food through the drive through window at an employee and threatened the employee. His passenger, Michael J. Baskin, 25, was also arrested. He was charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly exiting the vehicle, approaching the building and also making threats.
