Over a month into his new job as athletic director at Chicago State University, Channahon's Dan Schumacher says the process of getting adjusted is not close to over.

"For me to feel comfortable with all of my decisions, I will need a good six months before I clearly see a vision with where I want everything to go," Schumacher said.

Several months from now, Schumacher says he will have a better idea of what specifically he hopes to accomplish as the new head of Cougar athletics. He will compile those ideas into a vision document and begin working to accomplish them.
