Two killed in separate accidents

Minooka, Yorkville residents die in crashes this weekend

Area law enforcement on Monday continued investigations into separate crashes that took the lives of two people over the weekend.

In one incident, a 25-year-old man died Sunday night following a single-vehicle accident near the intersection of Lisbon Road and Newark Road, according to Grundy County Coroner John Callahan.

The accident took place just before 10 p.m. Sunday, when Ryan J. Horne’s vehicle left the roadway for unknown reasons. Horne, who was the sole occupant in the vehicle, was ejected from the vehicle, Callahan said.
