Youkilis’ style, and play, already a hit with White Sox fans
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (MCT) — Kevin Youkilis received a standing ovation after his final at-bat for the Red Sox, and he has become an instant fan favorite since joining the White Sox.
“When you’re going well, you’re always a fan favorite,” Youkilis said Saturday, one day after extending his streak of collecting at least one hit and one RBI to eight games. “You’re trying to keep it going. Fans like when you play hard and play the game right. ... If I keep doing that, White Sox fans will appreciate it.”
