A Camp of Crime

Children learn the science behind crime-scene investigation

Angelica Fernandez is not someone you'd expect to be a murderer.

For one, the Channahon resident is only 11.

Still, all the evidence pointed in her direction as about 40 children gathered at the University of Illinois Extension Office in Morris to take part in its annual Murder Mystery Camp. The students took part in a range of activities showing the process of investigating crime.
