Morris having fun but taking Challenge serious

For the second time in as many years, the Morris football team has entered the Bolingbrook Linemen Challenge. Last year the Redskins entered two teams at the event but this year the interest was even more keen for the Redskins and the locals got three teams of five athletes involved this time around.

"We have three teams this year. We had two last year but enough interest this year to bring three teams," Morris offensive line coach John Wodziak said. "It's great that these young guys are wanting to get out here and compete a bit. It's good for them to see what's going on around here, too."

Morris' first team was comprised of Danny Friend, Preston Miracle, Jeff Perry, Craig Claire and Mason Soper, the second team included Nik Countryman, Jake Ferguson, Eric Haish, T.J. Layne and Andy Clausen and the third team Dylan Smith, Drew Aldridge, David Kneller, Mark Lincoln and Dalton Ness.
