Sox's Peavy predicted Halladay's comeback
BOSTON (MCT) — Jake Peavy knows a lot about latissimus dorsi muscle tears, so he had a good idea Philadelphia ace and friend Roy Halladay would impress Tuesday night in his first appearance since May 27.
Halladay pitched five innings of two-run ball while striking out six and walking none Tuesday for Philadelphia at Dodger Stadium.
Peavy said Halladay was able to recover much quicker from a latissimus dorsi muscle strain because the tear was located "in the belly" of his muscle near near his right shoulder.
