Thousands without power as crews tackle overnight storm outages
(MCT) — A line of thunderstorms moving through the Chicago area delivered much-needed rainfall, but 42,000 Commonwealth Edison customers remained without power this morning.
The storms at their peak knocked out electricity for about 121,000 customers, many of them west of Chicago, according to ComEd.
