Dist. 111 superintendent receives contract extension

Colyott earns 1-percent salary increase, tenure through 2014-15

MINOOKA — Minooka Community High School District 111's Board of Education approved at Thursday's regular meeting a one-year contract extension for superintendent James A. Colyott.

The extension, which includes a 1-percent salary increase for the 2012-13 school year, will carry Colyott’s tenure in District 111 through the 2014-15 school year.

“We have been thrilled with (Jim’s) performance this past year and are excited for him to remain on as the leader of the district,” MCHS District 111 Board of Education President Chris Kobe said. “His support of maintaining a focus on student achievement and fiscal responsibility will remain a key component of our district’s ongoing efforts to live our strategic plan.”
