Morris Police

• Morris police arrested a man for shoplifting at Walmart on Saturday, June 30. According to Morris Police Department records, police responded to the store, located at 333 E. U.S. 6, at about 6:15 p.m. Police arrested Joshua J. Lovell, 21, for retail theft. Lovell did not post bond initially and was transported to the Grundy County jail.

• Scott A. Miller, 39, of 1721 Parklake Drive, was arrested by Morris police for driving under the influence of alcohol in the 1700 block of Parklake Drive, Morris, Tuesday, July 17. He was also cited for illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane usage and failure to signal a turn. Miller posted $300 bond and was released from custody.
