Vulcan Materials reports theft of copper from site in Newark
A Newark business reported a theft of copper supplies, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report.
At about 7:15 a.m. Monday, according to the report, deputies were dispatched to Vulcan Materials, at 10425 Joliet Road in Newark. Deputies learned that two unidentified suspects entered the business and stole about 185 feet of copper welding lead, which was valued at about $2,550.
