4-year-old girl, parents die in head-on crash near Red Bud
RED BUD (MCT) — A 4-year-old girl from Evansville and her parents died late Saturday night after a head-on crash on Illinois 3, the Illinois State Police announced.
A 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by Steven W. Brickeen, 29, was traveling southbound on Illinois 3 when it veered into the northbound lane and crashed head-on "for unknown reasons" with an oncoming Econoline van at 11:08 p.m. Saturday, according to the state police.
