'Big Ride' cyclists cruise through Morris
With more than 2,000 miles under their belts, 18 bicyclists were staying strong.
The group of cyclists in the “Big Ride Across America” passed through Morris Saturday on Illinois 47. They are traveling from Seattle, Wash., to Washington, D.C. to benefit the American Lung Association.
On Saturday, they rode from east of Rockford to the Coal City Area Club to spend the night. By early Sunday morning, they were off to Valparaiso, Ind.
