Jury selection begins in trial of Drew Peterson
CHICAGO (MCT) — Three years after his widely publicized arrest on murder charges, former Bolingbrook, Ill., police Sgt. Drew Peterson stood in a courtroom packed with news reporters Monday and greeted the first group of would-be jurors as his trial got under way.
“Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, I’m Mr. Peterson,” he said, standing with his hands clasped in front a gray suit, blue shirt and blue tie with diagonal white stripes. “Have a good day.”
