Hard-driving rock ‘n’ roll

The Chauffeurs bring sounds of ’50s, ’60s, ’70s to Morris

The Chauffeurs will be bringing the “Sounds of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s” to the Grundy County Courthouse lawn in Morris on Thursday, July 26. This “don’t-want-to-miss” rock ‘n’ roll review show will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Inspired by their love of the music from earlier decades, Jim and Janice Hughes formed The Chauffeurs in 2002. After returning from a summer contract in Alaska, aboard Holland/America’s MS Amsterdam, the Hugheses realized they needed to “hook up with a solid bass player and drummer in order to complete the act.
