Morris Hospital volunteers staff mobile food pantry
Approximately 180 area families took part in a mobile food pantry in Mazon on Wednesday, July 11, which Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers sponsored.
With a total of 7,863 pounds of food delivered, each household received approximately 43.6 pounds of food, including sixpounds of frozen meat. Participants also received a wide variety of other items, including milk, watermelons, broccoli, cleaning wipes, pastries and bread.
