COAL CITY, Ill. — Mrs. Catherine Agnes (Sadie) Hines, 96, of Coal City, Ill., passed away Monday morning, July 23, 2012, at Morris Hospital.

Born Oct. 2, 1915, in Fond du Lac, Wis., Catherine was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Sadie. She was raised and educated in Braidwood, where she married Daniel Paul Hines in 1934.

Catherine was the co-owner Kit & Dahl catering and was a member of Assumption Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir. Catherine will be remembered for her love of baking, cooking and spending time with her family.
