(MCT) — A Virginia business has been selected by the U.S. Marshals Service to auction off nearly 400 horses owned by the former Dixon comptroller who was charged with stealing $53 million from city coffers.
Professional Auction Services Inc. of Virginia will hold a live auction at Rita Crundwell's Dixon farm, likely in mid-September, officials said Tuesday. Prospective buyers also will be able to place bids online.
