SENECA, Ill. — Mrs. Ruth K. Brewe, 94, of Altoona, Wis., and formerly of Seneca, Ill., passed away Friday, July 27, 2012, at Luther Hospital.               

Funeral services for Mrs. Brewe will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Seneca. Her visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, one hour prior to services, at the church. She will be buried in Stavanger Cemetery.

Ruth was born Dec. 29, 1917, in Moorhead, Minn., to George and Erma (Rickart) Kendall. She married Edward Brewe in 1941 in University City, Mo. He passed away April 30, 1991.
