Channahon to host National Night Out event tonight
Entertainment, demonstrations to highlight activities
CHANNAHON — The Channahon Police Department and the Channahon Park District are holding a National Night Out event Wednesday in Channahon.
The event will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at the police department, 24555 S. Navajo Dr. It will feature entertainment, including a car and bike night, a movie in the park and live music from the band Acoustic Avenue.
The movie for the evening is "Kung Fu Panda 2," and it will play in Central Park, next to the department, starting at 8:45 p.m.
