Man arrested after yelling profanities at woman
Grundy County deputies arrested a Morris man Sunday after he allegedly yelled profanities at a woman at her home.
At about 1:05 p.m., a deputy was sent to the 3900 block of N. Dixon Drive, where a woman said she was outside of her home when the driver of a white SUV drove down her street at a high rate of speed and entered her driveway and stopped. She recognized the driver as her son's friend, Paul J. Hauck, 23, of Morris.
She told the deputy she told Hauck she didn't appreciate his driving, especially with young children who play in the area. She said he started yelling profanities at her. She and her husband told him to leave, and she said he left in a similarly reckless manner.
The deputy later met with Hauck, who said the woman threatened to kill him before he started yelling profanities at him.
He was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct. He posted $150 bond and was released from custody.
