A Dwight man was arrested Sunday at the Orpheum Theater in Morris after he allegedly battered a teenager and damaged theater property.

At about 7:50 p.m., according to a Morris Police Department release, police responded to the theater, located at 515 W. Gore Road, for a battery report. Police arrested James Hauert, 42, following an altercation with a 17-year-old male at the theater involving battery.

Deputy Chief Harvey Van Cleave said Hauert also allegedly punched a wall at the theater, causing damage.
