Man reporting a theft arrested for another one
An Elgin man who reported a theft Tuesday at Newark Grade School was arrested by Kendall County deputies for theft after he allegedly stole wire from his employer.
At about 11:50 a.m., according to Kendall County Sheriff’s Department records, deputies responded to the grade school, located at 503 Chicago Road in Newark, to a theft of a wallet and cigarettes.
