Owner of auction house to face fraud charges in authenticity of sports memorabilia

(MCT) — The onetime owner of an auction house at the center of a federal fraud investigation pleaded not guilty Tuesday at the Dirksen U.S. Courthouse.

William Mastro, 59, of Palos Park, entered the not-guilty plea before U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeffrey Gilbert and was released on his on recognizance, his attorney Michael Monico said.
