Crundwell motor home fails to muster required $1 million bid

DIXON, Ill. (MCT) — The sale of a luxury motor home seized from former Dixon Comptroller Rita Crundwell hit a speed bump Wednesday as the only bid came in under the $1 million requirement, the U.S. Marshals Service said.

"We put it out there to the target-rich audience, but it didn't sell," said Jason Wojdylo, chief inspector for the marshals' asset forfeiture division.
