Roy Beaudoin is a true rookie to the sport of auto racing. While he may have some experience riding four wheelers and snowmobiles, he had never actually gotten into a race car and rode until this summer out at the Grundy County Speedway.

"My son Deryk wanted to get into racing but he ended up leaving the state and now I'm doing it," Beaudoin said. "It was one of those things that was on my bucket list that I wanted to do while I was still young enough to do it."
