Jerome M. Ebner

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Mr. Jerome M. “Jerry” Ebner, 58, a resident of Huntersville, N.C., and previously of Orland Park, Ill., and Morris, Ill., passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, July 21, 2012.

Born in Chicago to the late Matthew A. and Loretta (Graffy) Ebner, Jerry was a devoted husband for 35 years to Margaret (Horstmann) Ebner; the loving father to Joshua Ebner of Charlotte, N.C., and Joel Ebner of Chicago; and dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.

At the time of his death, Jerry was employed as the director of environmental safety, health and quality for Areva Federal Services in Charlotte, N.C.

Jerry’s family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, Ill., on Saturday, Aug. 11, from noon until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Heart Association or Rock For Kids would be appreciated.
