Cutler likes upgrades

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. (MCT)— Jay Cutler said it was like Christmas when he arrived in training camp two weeks ago.

Now the Bears quarterback says it feels like Easter as the team continues preparation for the 2012 season at Olivet Nazarene University. The holidays will be over soon enough and it will be time to get to football that matters.

The Bears open the exhibition season Thursday at Soldier Field against the Broncos, and it’s about time for the new-look offense to test new parts such as Brandon Marshall and get a better look at an offensive line that coordinator Mike Tice doesn’t sound completely convinced of at this point.
