Cooper Orchestra closes 2012 season
Chicago-area band set to perform at courthouse Thursday
The Steve Cooper Orchestra will conclude the Morris Summer Concert series with a show from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, on the Grundy County Courthouse lawn.
The orchestra is from the Chicago area, and will perform Big Band Sounds with an 11-piece orchestra, plus vocalist Mary Kalfas. Kalfas is from Lyons, Ill. and sings in a smooth mellow jazz style.
