Morris man arrested after hitting person in head with bottle
A Morris man was arrested Saturday after he allegedly hit another man in the head with a bottle.
According to Morris Police Department records, at about 3:55 a.m. Saturday, police arrested Brett Leasure, 24, for aggravated battery in the 1000 block of Cemetery Road. The arrest came after police responded to Morris Hospital, where the injured man was treated. Deputy Chief Harvey Van Cleave said the injured man was a 22-year-old male who was taken to the hospital by friends.
