Betty L. Hamner Merritt
Mrs. Betty L. Hamner Merritt, 75, formerly of Clay City, Ill., died at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at Morris Hospital and Healthcare Center in Morris, Ill.
Mrs. Merritt was born Sept. 12, 1936, in Johnsonville, Ill., the daughter of Hubert and Flo (Pennington) Henson. She married Charles W. Hamner, who presently resides in Mountain Home, Ark. She later married Robert L. Merritt Sr. of Flora, Ill., who preceded her in death in 1998.
