One year removed for its first-ever regional team title, the Morris golf team realizes it has a job to do.

"For my first year, that has kind of set the bar and these guys have stamped it," second year Morris coach Matt Lafond said. "They've won a regional now and they want to keep playing strong. These guys know what they want."

Lafond became the right coach in the right place at the right time last season when he took the reigns right before the start of the fall practice season actually began. He says that the the order of things is much more to his liking this time around.
