Police investigating three burglaries on Liberty Street

Morris police are investigating three burglary incidents that were reported on early last week.

According to Morris Police Department records, two of the incidents were reported in the 500 block of Liberty Street.

There, a burglary was reported at about 7:30 a.m. at Steve’s Tire and Auto Service, at 514 Liberty St., which occurred some time over the previous weekend. At about 9:40 a.m., an attempted burglary was reported at Lesa’s Liberty Street Cafe, at 511 Liberty St.

A third incident was reported at about 2:50 p.m. in the 600 block of W. Washington Street.
