Morris soccer team eyeing conference crown
In each of the last two years, the Morris boys soccer team has done something it had never done before. With his squad on a roll of sorts, second-year coach David Valdivia is hoping to see that continue this fall.
Two years ago, the Redskins won their first regional in school history. They repeated that fact last year. Even though that has now become an obvious task to repeat, this year's team wants to raise the bar even further.
"Coach has talked a lot about the fact that our school has never won conference before," senior captain Brogan Connor said at practice on Tuesday. "I honesty think we can do it. We're looking strong and hopefully we can pull it off."
