Redskins soccer team moving to four-flat defense
Four-flat — that's the answer the Morris Community High School soccer team this fall according to Redskins coach David Valdivia.
Now in the second year of Valdivia's tenure as head coach, the locals are trying to find a way to plug a couple of big holes in the team's defense from last year. The two biggest names who were lost to graduation on defense from a year ago are keeper Kevin Wendling and stopper Josh Hall.
"We're going to be going to a four-flat defense and we've been working really hard at it," Morris senior captain Brogan Connor said. "As a defense the most important thing is for us to work as a unit."
