Williams back in battle to start at left tackle for Bears
BOURBONNAIS, Ill. (MCT) — Mike Tice came to training camp wanting to quickly make a decision on the starting left tackle.
Now, the Bears’ offensive coordinator acknowledges a choice might not be made until after the team’s third exhibition game, Aug. 24 against the Giants. This much is certain: Chris Williams will have an opportunity to play with the first team Saturday against the Redskins at Soldier Field, and neither he nor J’Marcus Webb has blown Tice away.
