JJC ranks in nation’s top 100 associate degree granting institutions

JOLIET, Ill. — Joliet Junior College was ranked among the top 100 institutions in the nation that granted associate degrees in 2011 with a total of 1,431 degrees conferred, a 23-percent increase over the previous year.

The data, which included both two- and four-year institutions, was compiled by Community College Week, a publication that serves as an independent source of in-depth information for and about two-year college faculty, administrators and trustees. The report was published in the June 11, 2012 issue of the magazine.
