Lawsuit over shopping cart mishap settled
A suit filed in 2011 against Berkot, Ltd. and three additional shopping cart manufacturers has settled.
Randy Snider filed the suit May 5, 2011, claiming that on June 21, 2009, he was at Coal City’s Berkot’s Super Foods store when, in attempting to get a cart, his finger became lodged and he lost the tip of his finger.
