You be the (election) judge

County Clerk seeking people interested in helping with election

Grundy County officials are seeking citizens who have an interest in taking part in the election process by participating as election judges for the November election.

Grundy County Clerk Lana Phillips said there are already many people who currently serve as election judges, but more are needed to be ready for Election Day.

"We like to have a nice pool of judges from which to choose, because there's always incidents where there's illness, or some of our judges may be snowbirds and they've left the area by the Nov. 6 date, so we'd like to have as many people as we can to choose from," she said.
