Journey to the South Pacific starts in Minooka

Aug. 30 meeting offers opportunity to take part in 14-day trip

Have you ever dreamt of lying on the white sand beaches of Fiji with the crystal clear water stretching as far as the eye can see or discovering if they really say, “Put another shrimp on the barbie, Mate” in Australia?

Community members and area high school students are invited to do just that as part of 14-day trip to Honolulu, New Zealand, Australia and Fiji next June.

I'm in favor of anything that will help improve school finances
I will support it if it helps to lower my property taxes
I oppose it because I don't believe it will impact property taxes and I will just pay twice
I'm against any additional taxes
I have not heard enough yet to form an opinion
