Dogs search Orpheum after suspicious man found in parking lot
A suspicious person in Morris’ Orpheum Cinema 10 parking lot upon police arrival Friday morning heightened the urgency of a bomb threat called in to Carmike Cinema’s corporate office in Georgia.
“There was a comment made that there were some explosives placed in some theaters throughout the nation,” said Morris Fire Protection and Ambulance District Chief Tracey Steffes about the threatening phone call made to the Georgia office.
